The Eastern Canadian Youth Festival took place this weekend in Windsor, bringing together some of the top young wrestlers from across Eastern Canada, from Ontario east to Nova Scotia.

The Yarmouth Wrestling Club was proud to send 10 athletes to compete at the event, with all wrestlers battling hard and representing the club with determination and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.

🚨 Yarmouth Wrestling Club Shines at Atlantic Championships & PEI Open 🚨

The Yarmouth Wrestling Club had an outstanding weekend of competition, showcasing the strength and growth of its athletes at both the Atlantic Championships and the PEI Open.

Leading the charge was standout athlete Jordyn Smith, who delivered a dominant performance, going an impressive 5-0 on the weekend. Jordyn captured gold at the PEI Open and secured her second Atlantic Championship title, solidifying her place as one of the region’s top competitors.

Also representing Yarmouth with pride was Asia Peterson, who put together a strong and consistent showing, earning silver medals at both the PEI Open and the Atlantic Championships.

Teammate Drake Chenel also had a remarkable weekend, battling through tough brackets to earn second place finishes at both events, demonstrating grit and determination on the mat.

These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of Yarmouth Wrestling Club athletes and coaches. The club continues to build momentum as it develops athletes across all levels, proving that commitment and passion are driving real success.

This program only costs $60 that is $6 per session a great affordable activity.
