Welp... here it is. πππ
Here is my now. Here is my past 4 year struggle. π₯
I'm putting this out there to help me be accountable to myself, because I deserve better. My family deserves better, my partner deserves better, my kids deserve better.
Because I am a better ME, a better MOM, a better PARTNER, and a better PERSON when I am not feeling lethargic, depressed, literally and physically - weighed down.
I am better when I am eating healthy foods that fuel my body. ππππ₯¬π₯π«ππ₯©π₯
I'm better when I'm ACTIVE. ππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈπΆπ»ββοΈ
(A body in motion tends to stay in motion while a body at rest tends to stay at rest - and I'll preach this saying forever and you all know it true when you have those days that are "SO productive!" Because you woke up, you got going, and you kept going! You didn't get up and sit on the couch and procrastinate all day.)
And when I'M feeling better and being active, I'm pushing and encouraging my KIDS to be better and get active and we ALL succeed. ππΌ
So this is my now.
And this is my why.
I don't want to lose weight because I want to appear how society thinks I should appear. I want to lose weight and get strong because:
I want to LIVE longer! π©πΌβπ¦³
I want to EXPLORE more! (I want to WANT to explore more!) ππβ°οΈπ
I want ENERGY to PLAY with my kids! π€Όπ»ββοΈπ€ΈββοΈπ€Ύ
I don't want to keep saying "not now", "I'm too tired", "maybe later" to them.
I want to feel strong again! πͺπΌ
I want to feel proud of the strength and capabilities of body!
I want to feel GOOD again.
Comfortable.
Ambitious.
Happy.
Healthy.
Energetic.
Motivated.
Disciplined.
And so, so much more!
