Yarmouth Links 18 holes with a links-style layout that offers a panoramic view of the local lighthouse and ocean. Yarmouth is one of the Province's oldest courses.

Tucked into the southwest corner of the Province, this charming links-style layout offers a panoramic view of the local lighthouse and ocean. At first glance, the openness of the course leads one to believe that low scores are the norm. However, the rolling fairways, small lightning fast greens and unpredictable ocean breezes all combine to provide a true challenge for any golfer. This club was established in the late 1800's and operated as a nine hole course until the mid 1990's when the new nine was opened for play in 1995. While playing Yarmouth course you will be treated to great views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course is fairly wide open but the small greens will make up for this as accurate approach shots will be required.

⛳️ Congratulations to all of our IG Wealth Management Men’s League year-end winners! 🏆

This was our most successful Men’s League season yet, averaging an incredible 103 golfers per week!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out each week and helped make Men’s League a can’t-miss event at Yarmouth Links. We truly appreciate the continued support and participation!

Each golfer was assigned a number, and the winning numbers were randomly drawn from a hat.

The following is a review from Calleigh White who hosted a young woman's group at our club recently:

"We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your support in helping make our Women’s Golf Tournament such a success.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host the event at your course and for all the support, time, and effort that went into making the day run smoothly. It was amazing to see so many women come together, enjoy the game, and step outside their comfort zones to try golf or get more involved in the sport.

The tournament exceeded our expectations, and the positive feedback we received from participants showed just how much an event like this was needed in our community. Our hope is to make this an annual event and continue growing it each year, introducing even more women to the game of golf and creating a fun, welcoming environment for everyone involved.

We truly appreciate your willingness to support this event and help bring our idea to life. We hope this was just the beginning and would love to continue working together in the future as the tournament grows."

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce Ty Beed will be joining YGCC as our new General Manager, beginning October 5, 2026. Ty brings strong leadership experience, a member-focused approach, and a genuine enthusiasm for becoming part of our community. He has already begun preparing for the transition and will be spending time in Yarmouth later this month as he gets settled.

Below is a message from Ty, sharing his excitement about joining the club and becoming part of the Yarmouth community.

Hello everyone,

My name is Ty Beed, and I’m very excited to be joining the Yarmouth Golf & Curling Club as your new General Manager. I’m originally from Amherst, Nova Scotia, where sports were a big part of my life growing up.

I played hockey, baseball, softball, and golf, which helped develop my passion for sports and the sense of community that comes with them.

Over time, golf became the sport I pursued professionally and ultimately led me to a career in the golf industry. I am a PGA of Canada Professional and a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration.

For the past few seasons, I have been part of the team at Antigonish Golf & Country Club, most recently serving as Assistant Golf Professional. During my time there, I gained experience in many areas of club operations, including tournament and league management, merchandising and retail operations, staff leadership, member services, and day-to-day club operations.

I’ll be stepping a little outside my comfort zone when it comes to curling. While my background has been primarily in golf, I’ve always enjoyed being involved in team sports, and I’m excited to learn more about curling and the traditions that come with it. I’m looking forward to embracing that opportunity, getting to know the curling community in Yarmouth, and working with the staff, members, and volunteers to support and grow both sides of the Club.

As I begin this new role, one of my biggest priorities will be listening and learning. I’m looking forward to getting to know the members, staff, volunteers, and the wider Yarmouth community, while working alongside the Board to build on the great work already being done at the Club.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity and excited to get started. Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself when you see me around the Club, I look forward to meeting everyone!
