Thank you Yarmouth!
You were incredible. Around 300 people packed into Yarmouth Mariners Centre and the night was absolutely wild! You guys really showed the talent how rowdy and supportive Yarmouth can be!
In the opening contest, Robbie McAllister defeated Bobby Boyette with a surprise pin.
Next, Mya Malek defeated Ethan Knight, Justine Ward, and Benoit Gravel with a God Stomp off the top rope in a Fatal 4-Way.
The Cowboy Showdown between Gunner Lang and Ryan Dennim ended with Lang coming out on top - but the two shook hands in the end - showing some cowboy to cowboy respect.
After intermission - Moondog Dylan Davis came out on top against Draven Kyuss with a brutal Tigerbomb.
After the 50/50 draw (tickets sold out for this before the show even started), interviewer Tina Babineau invited GM Randy Muise out to the ring to say a few words. During this, Covey Christ came out and interrupted - telling Randy to get out of his ring. A small scrimmage ensued - leaving Randy in agony on the floor after dishing a few blows to Covey but then receiving a dastardly low blow.
Andrew Love ran out and chased Covey out of the ring. Referee Abby Muise ran out as well, ensured Randy was doing ok, and promptly called Covey in the ring to start the main event.
Andrew Love came out on top with the pedigree - but not before Covey pulled Ref Abby into the line of fire of Andrew’s superkick - knocking her temporarily unconscious. Karma came for Covey in the end when Randy came out donning a referee jersey and counted the 1, 2, 3.
In the end, we had an incredible show and we are so grateful for each and every one of the fans, wrestlers, and other parts of the crew that made this show possible!
The next Pro Wrestling event in Yarmouth will be UCW Pro Wrestling on August 5th! Come out and support Maritime Wrestling and all the folks who put their bodies on the line to entertain!
