Update to Canada Day.
Looking for afternoon volunteers 12-4, will be tending the bouncy castles (now we're having fun, right?), and and helping with directions.

Dress is still corps t-shirt and sunscreen-let me know who I have and what times!

Good Morning 318,

For our final training night on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, 318 will be hosting a barbecue at 1800 hrs, followed by a special event for cadets. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

All cadets are to bring a change of appropriate clothing and are to arrive wearing appropriate civilian attire.

Please note the following dress standards:

• Shirts must be long enough that no skin is visible when arms are raised above the head.
• Shorts must extend to at least mid-thigh length.
• Shorts and clothing must not contain holes or tears.
• Clothing must be appropriate for a cadet activity.

We look forward to seeing everyone there for a great final training night of the training year.

Bonjour 318,

Pour notre dernière soirée d’entraînement du mercredi 10 juin 2026, le Corps de cadets 318 organisera un barbecue à 18 h, suivi d’une activité spéciale pour les cadets. Les parents sont les bienvenus et sont encouragés à y assister.

Tous les cadets doivent apporter des vêtements de rechange appropriés et doivent arriver vêtus d’une tenue civile convenable.

Veuillez prendre note des normes vestimentaires suivantes :

• Les chandails doivent être suffisamment longs pour qu’aucune partie de la peau ne soit visible lorsque les bras sont levés au-dessus de la tête.
• Les shorts doivent descendre au moins jusqu’à la mi-cuisse.
• Les shorts et les vêtements ne doivent pas comporter de trous ni de déchirures.
• Les vêtements doivent être appropriés pour une activité des cadets.

Nous avons hâte de vous voir pour cette excellente dernière soirée d’entraînement de l’année d’instruction.

Good day all!

Today is ACR eve and is going to be your final chance to wash and iron your uniforms and give your boots a good polishing! (hint, hint)
Weather is looking favorable tomorrow for the ACR being outside, the Town of Woodstock, will be setting up the barricades for the parking lot later today. Temperatures are going to be on the cooler side (14 and overcast) but there looks to be a prevailing breeze that will make things a little cooler.
I am asking for all cadets to remember to bring their tunics and ties!

Operation Camouflage will be taking place from Friday 15 May 2026 to Sunday 17 May 2026. This will be an overnight field exercise for 318 RCACC cadets.

DROP OFF / PICK UP
Location: 934 Route 555, Richmond Settlement

Silver and Gold Star Cadets
• Arrive Friday 15 May at 1900hrs (7:00pm)

Green and Red Star Cadets
• Arrive Saturday 16 May at 0900hrs (9:00am)

All cadets will be picked up Sunday 17 May at 1600hrs (4:00pm) from the same location.

KIT LIST
• 4x Outer Socks (Wool, synthetic)
• 4x Liner Socks (not cotton)
• 3x Underwear
• 1x Long Underwear / Base Layer
• 3x T-Shirts
• 2x Long Pants (No jeans)
• 1x Sweater or Hoodie / Insulating Layer
• Duffle Bag
• 1x Pajamas or Sleepwear
• 1x Hat
• 1x Toque
• 1x Gloves
• 1x Pair of Sneakers
• Day Bag (Small backpack)
• 1x Water Bottle or Hydration Pack
• Hygiene Kit (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Brush / Comb)
• Environmental Protection Kit (Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Lip Balm)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Cadets must ensure they bring appropriate outdoor clothing.
• Food and water refill facilities will be provided on site.
• Only Silver and Gold Star cadets are permitted to bring a pocketknife or multitool. Blade length must not exceed 3 inches.

• Les cadets doivent s’assurer d’apporter des vêtements appropriés pour l’extérieur.
• De la nourriture et des installations pour remplir les bouteilles d’eau seront fournies sur place.
• Seuls les cadets Étoile Argent et Étoile Or sont autorisés à apporter un couteau de poche ou un outil multifonction. La longueur de la lame ne doit pas dépasser 3 pouces.
