A few weeks back, we had three members run The Monster of Mazinaw race by Happy Trails Racing

One of our runners took 2nd place female in the 43km event and another took 1st female with a new course record in the 30km!

Congratulations to our runners! 🥳 It looks like you had a great day on the trails! We're so proud of you all! 🍻

This past weekend was the inaugural The Hustle trail race hosted by Straw Dog Racing on the former Run for the Toad course at Pinehurst Conservation Area.

We had three people run the 12.5km and two start the 50km, but unfortunately some lingering soreness from the 24 hour relay race cut one race short.

A great time was had on the trails with great weather (aside from the little bit of rain)! The race kits were also excellent!

We also had two ROC members volunteering at one of the aid stations. They were a welcome sight along the course!

Congratulations runners 🎊 and to Straw Dog Racing on a wonderful new event! 🍻

Last weekend ROC entered a relay team into the 24-hour relay event at That Dam Hill in London.

After finishing second last year, the team came full of determination, and loop after loop, the kms continued to stack up.

Fueled by Big Macs and popsicles (🤭), not only did they win first place for the relay event 🥇, but they also set the course record with 316.3kms 👏

This means that over the 24 hours, each of the kms they logged averaged out at a 4:33 min/km pace 🤯🏃‍♀️💨

Congratulations to the whole team on their award-winning, record-setting adventure!

Fall race season for ROC is officially in full swing! 🍂👟

Things kicked off last weekend at the Ultra-Trail Harricana Canada™ in Quebec 💪

Amanda Nelson had an incredible showing in the elite women's field finishing 5th in the 125km event. 🏅 Across this distance, Amanda climbed a whopping 4 000 metres! 🤯⛰️

Chris Burgard ran the 42km event... with over 1 800 metres of elevation 👏🦵 and finished 160/414 🎉

Dom Cislo also started the 125km this event, but unfortunately wasn't able to complete the race. When runners take on these ultra distances, anything can happen. Sometimes it's these events where we learn the most about what to/not to do next time. Other times, things just don't go our way or are beyond our control 🤷

Congratulations on grinding it out, and all the best to those running upcoming races! Stay tuned for more updates...

Congratulations to our four members who ran The Devil's Key 😈🗝️ yesterday hosted by Happy Trails Racing in Blue Mountain yesterday!

Fernanda Jakeman and Amanda Kat finished 1st and 2nd female respectively in the 33.3km race 🤯🤩🔥🥇🥈

Dave and Tom Pedlar ran the 66.6km race where Dave finished 10 overall 🎉💪 (8th male) and Tom overcame GI issues, which threw off his race, but did not stop him 🙌👏

Congrats again on your incredible accomplishments, everyone! Your determination makes us all so proud! 🎊
