Since 2004 Abhaya Mixed Martial Arts has represented the evolution of self defense training in the Annapolis Valley. With a focus on realistic, “live” training in a fun and safe environment, Abhaya is changing the way people think of martial arts. Gone are the unrealistic techniques and rigid stances of the traditional martial arts. We teach only those techniques and training methods proven to be effective by professional fighters around the world. By combining classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing and MMA, we offer a complete solution for mixed martial arts competition and real world self defense. We pride ourselves on having a relaxed training atmosphere where everyone can progress at their own pace while still being challenged in every single class.

Ours kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program “Mat Monsters” is back from summer break on Tuesday, Sept 8th. 4:00 for ages 5-7 and 5:00 for ages 8-13.

Congratulations to Eric Em on receiving his black in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! It is an amazing accomplishment that takes many many years. We all appreciate having such a great training partner at Abhaya!

Open to all! Abhaya Windsor will be hosting a day of seminars and training at 62 Fort Edward St, Windsor on July 18th. Registration starts at 9am and the day will run until about 4pm.
Please pre register by emailing Chris Robinson at [email protected]. Payment is $50 cash at the door.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our annual Abhaya Mat Monsters year end tournament! The kids put on some amazing matches in front of their teammates and families.
Thank you to all of the parents for their support and last but not least thank you to Chris and the crew at Abhaya Windsor for once again hosting a great day!

Mat Monsters registration opens up again in September for ages 5-13. Hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
