Whyte Ridge Soccer Whyte Ridge Youth Soccer Our Goal: To provide an experience where kids fall in love with the game of soccer...a love that lasts a lifetime!

Whyte Ridge is a thriving community of approximately 1,200 homes with an elementary and a middle school. Whyte Ridge Youth Soccer (WRYS) is a soccer club based in southwest Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and part of Whyte Ridge Community Centre (WRCC). We are part of Winnipeg District 1 soccer reporting to the Winnipeg South End United Soccer Club (WSEU) and are affiliated with Winnipeg Youth Soccer A

ssociation (WYSA) and the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA). We have over 300 players in our Mini Soccer league! It consists of five co-ed house leagues for 3-8 year-olds leagues. All games are played May & June on fields within Whyte Ridge. Mini Soccer is only available during the spring/summer seasons. We also have over 250 players in our Youth Soccer leagues. Our 9 - 12 year-olds play in the WSEU leagues and ages 13 through 18 play in the city-wide WYSA leagues. Youth soccer is available as both outdoor (spring/summer) and indoor (fall/winter). Our goal is to promote the worlds most popular sport to the youth in our community. Keeping kids involved in and enjoying the game of soccer not just through the teenage years, but throughout adulthood is a primary aim of our program. With a tremendous volunteer base, we offer facilities, equipment, coaching, and a great environment for players of all ages. Mini Soccer Weather Update – U5/U6 Cancelled Tonight

Due to confirmed thunder and lightning in the area, U5/U6 Mini Soccer is cancelled tonight.

We know this is disappointing, especially after planning to proceed earlier based on the forecast. However, weather conditions changed quickly, and player safety always comes first.

⚽🥅 Mini Soccer – Week 5 Focus: Shooting & Scoring! 🥅⚽

This week at WRCC Mini Soccer, our young athletes are moving into one of the most exciting parts of the season — Shooting & Scoring Goals!

After spending the first few weeks learning ball control, dribbling, and passing, players are now building confidence kicking the ball toward a target and celebrating every scoring opportunity.

Some of the fun drills players may see this week include:

👟 Pass & Shoot
🏃 1v1 to Goal
🥅 Shoot After Turn

At Mini Soccer, success isn’t about perfect technique — it’s about smiles, movement, confidence, and enjoying the game.

Whyte Ridge Community Centre is excited to offer our summer camps for children between the ages of 5 and 12!

Camps will run for the following weeks from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM-4 PM. Kids can be dropped off as early as 8:30am and stay until 4:30pm.

The camps will offer a variety of activities including sports, games, arts, crafts, science experiments and special guests.

Costs are $190.00 per camp ($152.00 for short weeks).

Please note that not all activities are related to our weekly themes, but they are a lot of fun!

The RDT Mini Soccer League is very excited to announce that the registration for the 2025 Summer Camps will go live on March 7th @ 9:00am. 
- Camp # 1 - Aug 18-22 - 7-9 years old
- Camp # 2 - Aug 25-29 - 10-12 years old
