Late post! On March 28th, some of our Kathak adults year 3/4 and seniors with Teacher Shavira performed for ICCHA's multicultural night.

The kathak adults performed Madhurastakam, and Abhinaya piece.
Anavi and Shaviraa performed a kathakd dance to Sakal Ban and then Bollywood Fusion to Rajvaadi Odhni.

This past weekend our Bollywood students and a teacher participated in Asian Heritage Society of Manitoba's (AHSM) "Taste of Asia", as part of Asian Heritage Month. Participants representing several Asian talents came together to put on a vibrant show.

Our students at India School have been participating in AHSM's events for over 20 years, including their opening and closing celebrations and cultural talent shows.

We also had a booth shared with the Asian Women of Winnipeg (AWOW) and hope you stopped by to say Hi!

Performances included:
Bollywood juniors and teen - Rajvaadi Odhni + Sun Sajni
Bollywood seniors - Sakal Ban, Calm Down, and Udi Udi Jaaye

*UPDATED Come join us for a new class offerings starting July 6th, 2026!

We are excited to offer several new classes this summer, during the weekdays. They are aimed at learning choreography, the style, weight-loss (for adults), and improving fitness. No dance experience is required!

We have three packages available: pay for the whole 8 weeks, or buy a 6-day or 3-day drop-in pass to try it out.

From June 1st - August 22nd we will be running Bollyhop dance classes with Sristi every Monday, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

1. $180/12 classes + $15 summer registration ($15/class).
2. $96/6 drop-in classes + $15 summer registration ($16/class).
