Manitoba Fitness Council This page represents fitness leader training in Manitoba. We partner with all Manitoba Universities as well as many gyms in Manitoba.

We provide training for those who wish to teach fitness classes or become Personal Trainers.

MFC has partnered with Assiniboine Community College and you can register and take Exercise Theory, Resistance training and the Registered Personal Trainer ALL IN ONE PROGRAM. This registration also includes all exams and evaluations. Course takes place online with two in person classes taking place at Assiniboine Community College in Brandon, MB.

Registration is now open for the September 29, 2026 start date.

32% of people who exercise incorporate circuit training into their fitness routine. This makes it the 10th most popular fitness activity globally among active individuals, outperforming many specialized workout trends. MFC has been doing circuit training workshops since 2006!

Sheena is the current past President of the Manitoba Fitness Council board. She teaches many of the instructor courses. Beyond teaching for the MFC she teaches Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi across the Interlake.
