Bowls Manitoba Inc Lawn bowling in Manitoba is for EVERYONE! Economical, FUN, Exercise, Fellowship. Twitter Lawn Bowls is a sport for all ages - 9 to 99 yrs.

The majority of play is recreational in nature, just show up and play when you desire. Cost is very nominal and you can play up to five times a week for the same fee. We have lots of social activities to go along with our games. Provincial Championships and National Championships take place annually. In 2014 Winnipeg hosted the Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships in the Pairs, Triples and Fours ca

tegories. In 2015 we hosted the Canadian Open Singles Championships. During the winter months we play Wed at Gateway Rec Center and on Monday and Thurs morning we play at North Centennial Arena. COME OUT AND "GIVE IT A TRY"!

Our Story

Lawn Bowls is a sport for all ages - 9 to 99 yrs. The majority of play is recreational in nature, just show up and play when you desire. Cost is very nominal and you can play up to five times a week for the same fee. We have lots of social activities to go along with our games. Provincial Championships and National Championships take place annually. In 2014 Winnipeg hosted the Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships in the Pairs, Triples and Fours categories. In 2015 we hosted the Canadian Open Singles Championships, and in 2017 we again hosted a most successful Canadian Open Outdoor Singles at the NORWOOD LBC and the DAKOTA BOWLS CENTER.

In August 2018 we hosted the Canadian Youth Championships (Under 18 and Under 25) at the St. James Lawn Bowling Club, with 40+ young participants.

During the winter months we play Wednesdays at Gateway Rec Center with an open jitney @ 1:00 - $4.00 game. Linden Ridge have a Triples League on Wednesday morning @ 9:45 and a Singles League on Monday morning. Linden Ridge is at 2050 Chevrier Blvd (Soul Sanctuary).

New members always welcome and instruction and equipment will be provided.
