After five years of serving Winnipeg families and earning five Community Choice Awards, Pro Taekwondo is announcing a transformative evolution. The martial arts school is establishing its new home at Bord Aire Community Centre, 471 Hampton Street, while launching two specialized programs designed for both elite competitive athletes and young learners. This move represents a commitment to excellenc
e in high-performance training and community-focused child development. The school will now offer two distinct programs under one roof:
Skillz Martial Arts School Winnipeg: This foundational program utilizes the internationally acclaimed SKILLZ™ curriculum for comprehensive child development. The focus is on physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth through age-specific instruction. The program features smaller class sizes for personalized attention and mandatory pre-evaluations to ensure a proper fit for every child. Pro Taekwondo Olympic Sparring and Sports Poomsae: This is Winnipeg's dedicated competitive program for serious competitors aged 5 and up. The program is designed to develop athletes for national and international stages and is led by elite instructors, including a former European Taekwondo Champion. It provides a clear pathway to podium success for disciplined and resilient athletes. "We are going back to our smaller classes, quieting the chaos, and becoming a great community," said Master Padua. "Our competition teams have been doing great, and I look forward to the new students that will join our family."
