It is a fusion class that keeps you moving and sweating with various ethnic dance styles followed by strength training with yoga and pilates. Yoga is a flow style that synchronizes breath to movements. 3 options of yoga classes are available including: gentle, mixed and power yoga. Gentle yoga is a more relaxed class for beginners. Mixed classes are for all levels and will be challenging. Power yo
ga are for those who are experienced in yoga and are looking for more of a challenge to build strength and increase flexibility. Bellyfit & yoga classes will be running in July and August in the Grand Beach area on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 9pm (time slots for classes will be solidified in the next week or two). Saturday mornings classes will run from 9am to 12pm (time slots being confirmed in the next 2 weeks). Private classes are also still available through the summer & continuing to the fall. Yoga poses require you to support your body weight in a new ways which enable you to build strength in areas of your body you are not used to exercising. It is especially beneficial for stabilizing muscles.
