Most weekends (and weeknights for that matter), you can find us at a hockey rink in Winnipeg Manitoba, where we live. We love our busy life that takes us for A to B to C to D, but it has always been our crutch and major excuse for not getting into shape. Not anymore...
We have now found Beachbody and all of our excuses have gone out the window. Who doesn't have half and hour a day, 5 or 6 days a
week? I've struggled with my weight my whole life. I've been to weight watchers, bootcamp, kickboxing clubs, many different gyms, therapists, and the list goes on. Nothing has ever worked for me. I have always found reasons to give up and excuses as to why these programs didn't work. And I'll be honest, they really just didn't work for me, at all! As I said before, we are very busy. I honestly don't have time to drive to the gym/bootcamp/class, work out for an hour, then drive home and carry on with my life. Keeping to others schedules was so constricting and I never managed to fit them into my routine. Now, I workout when I can. Sometimes, if I have a busy evening planned, I work out in the morning. Sometimes it's at 10 o'clock at night. Sometimes it's right after work. It's whatever works for me in the moment and it's only half an hour. Half an hour a day, which works out to just over two percent of your entire day, is very manageable. I also have developed a huge social network group of people that I "work out with" on a daily basis, even though I've never actually physically worked out with them ever. They give me the drive and determination to keep going and my journey would not be happening without them. That's why I'm writing this. I want YOU to join me. I want to inspire you the way that everyone else has inspired me. I want you to want to smell like fit! That might mean filling your home with the amazing aromas of all of the clean food you will be cooking for your family. It could also mean stocking up on disinfectant wipes to clean your workout mat daily because of all the sweat that you left on it from killing the sit up series, or nailing the plank for even longer then the last time you tried. Whatever it means to you, I want to be there with you for your journey! Thanks for reading! Jackie Bend
