We were finally able to arrange to go down and do our cheque presentation to The Dream Factory for our July event Swing for the Kids. Unfortunately our presenting sponsor Salisbury House was unable to join us but we were glad to finally pass on our donations and toured the new additions to their offices.
We have already started to brainstorm for next year and a possible new theme to go along with this fantastic event. Once again, thanks to everyone who participated and donated to this great event and helping put some smiles on some of the dream kids.

Where do we even begin? ❤️

Our 6th Annual Swing for Kids – Christmas in July Charity Tournament has officially wrapped up, and once again, we are completely blown away by the incredible support of our slo-pitch community.

Because of every player who stepped onto the field, every team that signed up, every sponsor who generously donated, every volunteer who gave their time, and every person who bought a raffle ticket or supported us throughout the day, we are incredibly proud to announce that $6,225.00 will be donated to The Dream Factory! 💙✨

$6,225.00 that will help bring joy, hope and unforgettable experiences to children and families right here in our community. That is something every single person who supported this event should be proud of.

To our players and teams — THANK YOU. ❤️ You show up year after year ready to play ball, have some fun and support a cause that means so much to us. This tournament simply wouldn't exist without you.

To our amazing sponsors and donors — your generosity continues to leave us speechless. Whether you donated prizes, products, services or financial support, you helped make this event possible and allowed us to turn one day at the ballpark into something so much bigger. 🎁

On Saturday we held not just a regular tournament but one that would help make a difference for many families now and in the future. Xmas in July charity tournament was just that. Playing slopitch but stepping up and help make a difference.

With partnering up with The Dream Factory we got to meet Brody and his family in the morning. Brody was a big bundle of joy and full of energy and got to be involved with a coin toss with the captains and also got to run the bases. Brody is the reason we put on these events. To help him with his dream and make it happen for him and others. Our goal was to raise money and the players didn't let us down as they supported our auction, 5050 and numerous bat draws for the event.

A huge thanks to Salisbury house for coming on board as our main sponsor and was also our sponsor for our pitching contest. Lots of great companies stepped up with donations towards this event including Winnipeg Goldeyes, True north, QX104, HR Sports, Lakeview Hotels, Frankie's and many more....

Planning has begun for 2027 and we only hope to raise the bar again and continue supporting MB charities and help make a difference.
