COMMUNITY ✨
Connection, collaboration, teamwork, and caring are important to us at DBSD. We value getting to know our dancers and families and making them feel like they are a part of something special. We promote the importance of dance community as a whole, building connections and friendships as the foundation of what we do.
ARTISTRY ✨
We create a space for artistic expression, creativity, growth, risk, and make sure our dancers feel that DBSD is a safe space to try something new without fear. All of our dancers are artists and we strive to help them grow their artistic instincts and allow them to trust themselves.
EDUCATION ✨
Technique, practice, learning, creating goals, and developing an understanding of your craft allows for the freedom to express. Our faculty is passionate about diving deeper into our students understanding of their form to uncover a deeper appreciation and knowledge of dance.
KINDNESS ✨
Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give! We want kindness to radiate through our clientele and dancers experience at DBSD and make sure our students experience and share acts of kindness at dance every day from our faculty and from each other. Kindness not only is a gift to others but a gift to yourself. We teach dancers appreciation of their fellow teammates, respect, sportsmanship, and to allow kindness to themselves and others to support their dance journeys.
