Huge shout out to 7-ELEVEN for bringing their slurpee truck and handing out FREE slurpees all day to everyone!!
And thanks to the Honourable Jamie Moses, Minister of Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources and MLA for St. Vital, for attending on behalf of the province!
And gotta say a HUGE thanks to my family, Bruce Oake Recovery Centre AND to the Winnipeg Blues Jr. A and Winnipeg Freeze hockey clubs for helping all day with reffing and time keeping! You guys don't even know!! 🙏

- What: 5th Annual Vitality (youth) Ball Hockey Tournament
- Who: Indigenous youth players (First Nations, Metis, Inuit)
- When: Saturday, July 6 & Sunday, July 7

- Game Format: 3-on-3
- Where: Walter Jennings Sport Fac (176 Worthington Ave., in Winnipeg)
- Division with 1 team spot open: 17 & Under (17U)

- Guaranteed 4 games (3 round robin games on Saturday and at least 1 playoff game on Sunday).

- Hockey sticks & hockey helmets are mandatory
- Hockey gloves, shin pads and jocks are all recommended but not mandatory.
