As the Director of Evolution PLAY and a certified Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Jake is passionate about creating and leading a fun, positive environment where athletes can develop a love for the game while building upon their hockey skills. A keen eye for the game, Jake focuses on teaching key tactics that helps all athletes gain confidence, improve their abilities, and continue progressing both on and off the ice.

With a patient coaching style and a passion for player development, to complement his hockey skill and IQ, Jake understands that athletes learn best when they are engaged, challenged, and having fun.

This summer Jake will be coaching the on-ice development sessions for numerous groups including; High Performance, WHL, WHL Prep, U22 Female, U18 AAA, U16 Female, and U15 AAA.

At Evolution, everything is done with a purpose.

We aren’t shooting just to take shots or running drills simply to fill time. Every rep is intentional, with a focus on skill development and the small details that separate good players from great ones.

Development starts with mastering the fundamentals. We build each skill from its foundation before progressing to game-like situations where athletes can apply what they’ve learned with confidence.

Using video analysis, we provide clear, accurate feedback that helps athletes understand not only what to improve, but why it matters.

We don’t just go through the motions. Every session is planned with intention, creating a development pathway tailored to help each athlete reach their full potential.

Sometimes less really is more.

When the game becomes constant structure, constant instruction, constant repetition, something important can start to fade.

As the Director of Player Development with Evolution Hockey, Brett Dudar has been working with both amateur and professional athletes to enhance their skill set and set them up for success. Dedicated to making the athlete an overall better player, Brett spends countless hours reviewing game film, analyzing player tendencies, and developing training plans tailored to help each athlete grow in a purposeful way. His passion for player development and attention to detail has helped athletes improve their hockey IQ, build confidence, and maximize their potential both on and off the ice.

Our summer programming has just begun and we want to introduce you to some of our amazing staff who will be helping lead and develop the young athletes.

As the owner/founder of Evolution, Riley Dudar is a highly respected player development coach. With a passion for empowering players, Riley focuses on fostering skill development, hockey IQ, and a love for the game at every level. He is dedicated to helping athletes build confidence, strengthen their skills, and reach their full potential both on and off the ice.

This summer Riley will be leading the on-ice development sessions for our High Performance, WHL, and WHL Prep groups.
