Although this piece is marked as poetry, it wasn't written as poetry.

A little tidbit about me ... I don't like poetry. I'm not sure why; perhaps it's because it's not a form of writing that I easily understand and I find that it's consumed too quickly. I love to settle into a story and enjoy it and not have to try to translate what the poet is sharing with me.

A Perspective on Writing

This next piece was published on July 12, 2021 and received a fair amount of feedback. Because of that, I've decided to share the friend link for it, which means that you do not have to be a Medium member in order to read it.

In case you didn't know ... my goal at the moment is to post each of the pieces I've already written on the Medium platform in the order I wrote them. So far, there's a total of 28 pieces. I wanted everything to be in one place on Facebook that is dedicated to my writing journey.

Once I have everything posted - which will probably take me a month or so - I will then post them as I write them.

A Second Chance to Capture a Part of Childhood

I've received a handful of messages which made me realize that there's a little confusion as to when the pieces that I'm sharing were actually written. Going forward, I will also mention the date that it was published on the Medium platform.

My goal is to eventually have all of the links to the pieces published there in this space ... in the order I have written them. There's 28 stories published as on today on the Medium platform and one that was published in an anthology last year that I will also be adding to this page.
