It was wonderful to see our young players achieve such great results, but even more importantly, to see them enjoying the competition and being happy on the court. Organizing events like this, where kids are happy and excited to play, is a great sign for the future of tennis in Manitoba!💪🎾

What a finish to the tournament! In the doubles semifinal and final alone, Gabby and Mariya battled through five tiebreaks. Performances like these are built on hard work and trust in each other!

Another fantastic weekend for our Otto Tennis Academy players at the 2026 WLTC Junior Open! 🎾🏆

Congratulations to all our athletes on their outstanding performances:

🥇 Aviv Lev Arava – Champion in BS12, BS14, and U12 Coed Doubles – an incredible triple crown! 👏🔥

🥇 Cruz Hindle-Giavedoni – U10 Champion and BS12 Semi-finalist (3/4). Another strong tournament showing his competitive spirit and continued progress.

🥇 Alexia Djomo – GS12 Champion, GS14 Semi-finalist (3/4), and U12 Coed Doubles Finalist. What an amazing weekend!

🥉 Avelyn Deepak & 🥉 Krystal Xuan Sun – GS12 Semi-finalists (3/4). It’s great to see both players making steady improvements and growing with every tournament.

🥇 Dominik Lazor – BS16 Champion, proving once again that hard work leads to success.

🥈 A special shoutout to our youngest competitor, Lior Tsvi Arava, who fought his way to the U9 Final. We are so proud of his effort and courage on the court!

👏 Stefania and Emma also represented Otto Tennis Academy with great effort and determination. Every tournament is another step forward, and we’re proud of the way they continue to compete, learn, and improve.

A huge congratulations to our Head Coach, Peter, on winning the ITF Masters Doubles title alongside his partner, Geoff!

Peter’s experience, passion for the game, and love of competition continue to inspire everyone at our academy. He is not only an outstanding coach but also a wonderful role model, showing our players that learning, competing, and striving for excellence never stop.

National Junior Open Series – Manitoba Results🎾

What an incredible weekend of tennis at the National Junior Open Series in Manitoba!

A huge thank you to Tennis Manitoba Tennis Manitoba for hosting this major event and for all the hard work behind the scenes. Despite challenging weather throughout most of the tournament, the organizers did an outstanding job keeping matches running and ensuring the event was a success. Thankfully, Sunday brought some beautiful tennis weather to finish the weekend on a high note!

It was exciting to welcome players from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia, making this one of the biggest junior tournaments in Manitoba.
