Skate Canada Manitoba is part of the largest figure skating governing body in the world – Skate Canada. We provide standards and rules for the figure skating activities of our members clubs. The Association conducts training seminars for skaters and coaches, provides financial support to provincial team athletes and disseminates information concerning figure skating to the general public. Skate Ca

nada Manitoba also promotes the National Coaching Certification Program and organizes free skating and synchronized team skating competitions. This area is for sharing of information about and for skating and figure skating.

Skaters enjoyed a fun and productive day on and off the ice, highlighted by an off-ice flexibility and mobility session led by Danae Russell. It was great to see several coaches joining in and supporting the athletes throughout the day.

A great day in Portage la Prairie with Dana & Deidra leading our Spin Focus Workshop for Juvenile & Up and STAR 5 & Up athletes. ⛸️

Athletes spent the day refining technique, building confidence, and gaining valuable feedback as they worked through spin-specific skills and training exercises.

With every session, athletes gain experience and continue building the foundation for a strong season ahead. ❤️

This past Saturday, athletes gathered in Portage la Prairie for Training Opportunity #2, taking part in a full day of training designed to support their development both on and off the ice as they prepare for the season ahead.

Midweek training days in Morden, MB 💙⛸️

This week, Team Manitoba came together for their first training opportunity of the season, pushing themselves, supporting each other, and making the most of every moment on and off the ice.

A couple weekends ago, Team Manitoba came together for their first workshop of the season 💛

What started as a photo scavenger hunt quickly turned into an afternoon full of laughs, sunshine, teamwork, and memories together outside the rink.

From lakeside photos to team pyramids and tree climbing, this group is already showing what Team Manitoba is all about. ⛸️
