As a registered yoga teacher, I am required to keep on learning & add additional educational hours/credits.
I chose a course that is dear to my heart & affects so many people living with Alzheimer’s & Dementia.

Are there things we can do to help slow / prevent the disease? = YES!! Yoga is a part of that.

Registration is now open for another six weeks of indoor Hatha Flow Yoga classes with me at Linden Woods Community Centre (414 Lindenwood Drive).

Hatha Flow Yoga classes are held on Thursdays; May 21 to June 25, 2026 (6 weeks) 7:30pm - 8:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

Life isn’t black or white. It’s both, at the same time. ☯️

1. Here is the “bad.”
Pain, failure, rejection, loss. The parts we resist, avoid, and wish didn’t exist.

2. Here is the “good.”
Joy, love, success, peace. The moments we chase and try to hold forever.

3. The bad inside the good.
Every happiness carries fragility. Attachment, fear of losing it, the pressure to keep it.

4. The good inside the bad.
Every struggle carries growth. Strength, wisdom, clarity—things comfort could never teach.

5. Here is life.
A constant dance of opposites. Nothing is purely one thing.
Not your pain. Not your happiness. Not even you.

The peace comes when you stop labeling everything…
and start understanding everything.

Not everything “bad” is against you.
Not everything “good” will stay.

Balance is the truth. Acceptance is freedom.

Register now for Spring Hatha Flow Yoga classes with me at Linden Woods Community Centre (414 Lindenwood Drive).

Hatha Flow Yoga classes will begin April 9 to May 14, 2026 (6 weeks).

Classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm - 8:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

Cost for 6 weeks is $110.00 for 6 weeks or $25.00 per drop in if space is available.

As the year comes to a quiet close, I invite you to pause and acknowledge the journey — each breath, each practice, each moment of presence.

Just as on the mat, we are asked to soften, to let go of what weighs us down, and to return home to stillness and awareness.

As the New Year unfolds, may you step forward with intention, balance and grace.

Thank you for showing up with open hearts and curious minds.
I am deeply grateful for this shared practice and I look forward to continuing the journey together in the year ahead.

UPDATE: Linden Woods Community Centre is closed today due to winter storm. Yoga class will also be cancelled today; Thursday, Dec 18, 2025. I will directly reach out to those of you who are already registered to make alternative arrangements.

This yoga class of the year is a special practice focused on reflection, release, and setting intentions for the new year. This often involves poses that open the body, deep stretches and a meaningful closing in Savasana to let go of burdens and welcome positivity, creating a sacred transition from the old year to the new. 🕯️ 🤍
