Today at 4:00 pm Pacific on Road to the NHL - Byron Ritchie.

Ritchie was drafted in the 7th round (165th overall) by the Hartford Whalers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, from the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He played over 300 NHL games.

We are very excited to have 3 Time NHL All Star Bernie Nicholls joining the Academy for this week’s Road to the NHL webinar.

During the interactive webinar, students will hear first-hand about his journey, and have an opportunity to ask Bernie questions about how they too can become a hockey star.

You can’t be a hockey player without a hockey mindset!

The 1988-89 season was a great one for Bernie Nicholls as his hat trick in the second to last game of the season netted his 70th goal.

Sunday’s Weekly ‘Road to the NHL’ Webinar will feature Calgary Flames NHL Scout, Darren Kruger. Academy students will find out what scouts look for when choosing players, and be able to ask questions.
