EBTA In-Season Development Program (High School Boys – League Season)

Philosophy
At EBTA, in-season does NOT mean slowing down.
In-season means maintaining the same discipline, structure, and work ethic that was built in the off-season.

We do not say:
“It’s season, go lighter.”
We say:
“We stay ready so we never have to get ready.”

Players who have trained for years continue the full program year-round, while newer or less physically developed players follow a modified in-season version that maintains conditioning without overtraining.

The goal of the in-season program is to develop:
Discipline
Conditioning
Skill repetition
Academic responsibility
Mental toughness
Time management
Recovery habits

Daily In-Season Schedule (Typical School Day – No Game)
Morning (Before School)

Travel Rules (EBTA Standard)
When traveling to games (especially USA trips):
Inside the car:

No music
No distractions
Headphones allowed for podcasts / study only

Players must:
Study
Do homework
Read
Prepare academically
Travel time = study time

This eliminates excuses like:
“I have a test”
“I have homework”
“I don’t have time”
At EBTA:
We don’t get ready.
We stay ready.

EBTA Motto
Stay ready so you never have to get ready.
In-season is not a break.
In-season is proof of who is serious.
