Thats a wrap on Chipollino! WBA x VSB ❤️ 💜

As a member of our competitive program, our students have the incredible opportunity to dance in Valentina’s School of Ballet studio’s performances and take classes from their award winning faculty.

As Windsor Ballet Academy is just a baby and continues to grow, this gives our competitive students the chance to learn from other teachers, make friends with other pre-professional students, and most importantly - the whole point of ballet - to perform on stage!

We’re already looking forward to Nutcracker season!

Thank you to Valentina Barsukova for this exceptional opportunity and for your never ending support and guidance as I’ve opened my studio ❤️ I couldn’t do any of this without you!

Thank you to Ms Natalya and Ms Christie for sharing your amazing dance experience with Bella each Saturday during classes and rehearsals, and to the rest of the VSB faculty for putting on such an amazing production.

Since we’ve had so many new followers lately who may not know - WBA has our own Competitive Program!

This program is designed to train the next generation of Windsor Ballerinas 🩰 & Contemporary Dancers 👯‍♀️

These students:
•train extensively in ballet and contemporary
•compete in the USA and Canada
•AND even get the absolutely INSANE opportunity to take part in the multi award-winning Valentina’s School of Ballet studio’s full length ballets (including Nutcracker!) in December & June 😍

No experience is needed for ages 8-12 (seriously!). All I look for is potential, work ethic, and passion.

Our Summer Classes are designed for dancers ages 8–18 looking to strengthen technique, improve flexibility, and return to classes feeling confident and prepared for September.

ICYMI: The incredible Valentina Barsukova will be teaching at Windsor Ballet Academy this Summer!

Ms Valentina’s accomplishments are too many to name. She has won “Best Teacher” and “Best Studio” Awards at every major ballet competition, has produced more professional dancers than anyone else from Michigan to Toronto, and her alumni have been accepted to, and gone on to dance in, the best schools and companies in the world.

LOOKING TO IMPROVE YOUR TECHNIQUE?

Most dancers struggle with the same things:

• Bent knees
• Pointing feet
• Lack of control
• Improper placement

Our Ballet Foundations class is designed to focus on these issues specifically. We work on simple, slow combinations to ensure each move is done correctly, building the proper muscles that lead to real results.

This class is suitable for all ages and levels — from beginners building their foundation to more advanced dancers refining and correcting their technique. Whether you want straighter knees for jazz class, more pointed feet in your contemporary solo, or are looking to progress more quickly in ballet, Ballet Foundations will help get you there.

👯 Open to male and female dancers ages 8-18, all levels and experience.
📅 Tuesdays 4-5pm in May and June
