Holly Stradeski captured an awesome family element of the kart racing.

Keagan has taking a break from racing this year and focused on helping (he wants to return next year after knowing more about how everything works).

So he's been learning about tire pressures, tire prep and maintenance of the karts.

Super cool seeing all these karts make a tribute lap in honour of Stew Massender at Route 1 Raceway yesterday.

Think the track did an amazing job putting on this race event. Great seeing some awesome racing and having Today with Avaleigh Mae be part of the whole show.

Took a little trip up to Route 1 raceway to watch Ava the young lady we help out racing today. It was fun to finally make it out to see her racing. It might not have been her day but she is still kicking butt and having fun. Stradz Racing

Route 1 Raceway today, racing starts at 1pm, see everyone there.

Last night was day 1 of two days at Route 1 Raceway.

In the second heat Today with Avaleigh Mae was in 3rd position all the way until the final lap and was unfortunately spun out. That gave her the tail start in the feature.

That being said, she put up a fight and landed a 6th place finish, but just saying that isn't enough, watch the video and enjoy.
