Mady's Martial Arts Center, open full time since 1980, under the direction and leadership of Hanshi, Albert Mady, 9th dan Isshinryu Karate. He has trained in the martial arts for 42 years and has trained students as young as 3 years old to 70 years old, from the enthusiast to the world champion.

DOJO UPDATE

Hi Team Mady,

We have secured a new venue for kids and adults karate classes until Hanshi returns.

Classes will be held at Constable John Atkinson Community Centre (4270, Alice Street, Windsor Ontario).

Parking lot and street parking are available. Parents, there is a seating area for you.

Bring water bottles - there is a refill station.

Please wear gis and bring SOCKS and RUNNING SHOES (no sandals, crocs etc). There are change rooms available.

Tuesday October 21 - children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 5pm-6:30pm
*Earlier arrival for quick tour and rules.

Thursday October 23 - children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 5:30-6:30pm

Saturday October 25- children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 4:30-5:30pm
5:30-6:30pm (advanced class, weapons and kata)

Tuesday October 28 - children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 5:30-6:30

Thursday October 30 - children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 5:30-6:30pm

Saturday November 1 - children’s and adults traditional Isshinryu 4:30-5:30pm and
5:30-6:30pm (adults/ advanced class, weapons and kata)

I get news sent to me but the Canadian government says Canadians cannot view this news.
I don’t need a baby sitter. We need an election but we have to be very careful on who we elect. I’m no longer a party person. I look at the people running and listen to what they say they will do. Then if they don’t work on doing their best for all Canadians, we must hold them accountable. If there are idiots stopping them from doing the right thing, then those people and interest groups must be held accountable. Everyone wants something, but what’s good as it can be for all.

What really bugs me lately is a particular SPORT style that puts a lot of credence on their belt rank. The fight is in the person in the fight when it comes to a real fight, no bell, no ref, no time,no rules to save your ass. Bring it to the back alley and we will see who comes out. Bring it.

The dojo was busy today. This morning Carol Anne and Melissa Greene ran a great woman’s self defence/kickboxing class. Then Hybrid and Muay Thai Windsor came out with Team Mady and did some great sparring. A few of my past students came out, it was great seeing them back on the mat. Coming together to make everybody better. Thanks everyone. OSU
