Meet our hockey camp coaches: Debbie Beaudoin and Mike Dean!
Debbie is a passionate coach, mentor, and leader who has dedicated more than 30 years to the sports of hockey and ringette. As the Founder and Director of Beaudies House of Hockey & Ringette and President of the Warrior Ice Sports Training Society (WISTS), she is committed to helping athletes of all ages and abilities develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
Debbie's impressive background includes playing hockey professionally, serving as team captain at NCAA Division I Quinnipiac University, coaching at elite levels across British Columbia, and supporting inclusive sport programs such as those through the Canucks Autism Network and the Ice Hawks Indigenous ringette program. Whether she's behind the bench, leading skill development, or mentoring the next generation of athletes, Debbie brings energy, expertise, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed both on and off the ice.
Mike Dean is a dedicated coach, mentor, and lifelong sports enthusiast with a passion for helping athletes develop their skills and confidence. Mike's experience includes coaching rep hockey, co-founding the Mission Minor Roller Hockey, and working as an on-ice instructor with the BC Hockey Midget Scholarship Program.
With WISTS, Mike shares his expertise through high-performance skating, conditioning, and development programs, helping athletes of all ages reach their potential. Known for his philosophy of learning through correction, repetition, and continuous improvement.
