Geocaching Capital of Canada

Geocaching Capital of Canada This is prime Geocaching Country, a geocacher's paradise offering creative caches hidden in and around magnificent forests and pristine lakes. Happy Geocaching!

The Geocaching Capital of Canada is comprised of a string of seven hamlets located within the municipality of Highlands East, Ontario, Canada: Irondale, Gooderham, Tory Hill, Wilberforce, Harcourt, Highland Grove and Cardiff and all are nestled on the eastern side of the scenic Haliburton Highlands, on the edge of the rugged Canadian Shield. Enjoy leisurely and muggle free geocaching on foot, by b

icycle, on horseback, ATV, snowmobile in the winter, or by simply driving the scenic back roads (especially in the fall). Respectively, three hours north of Toronto, east of Ottawa and south of North Bay, and just minutes from Algonquin Provincial Park and Silent Lake Provincial Park, the Geocaching Capital of Canada is within easy reach of everyone. Come for the weekend or stay for a week’s vacation. Friendly folk offer fine accommodations ranging from campsites to resorts and B&Bs. We look forward to your visit.

In search of deer decoy for use as part of a geocache. Ours went missing from the bush. Probably looking for greener pastures. Not needing anything in excellent condition. Something inexpensive would be great.
