Hello Everyone,

It’s that time of year again where we’re all itching to get back on our bikes. Unfortunately, the trails are NOT ready yet.

Consistently cold overnight lows mean that that ground is still very frozen. When things warm up in the afternoon, this is the worst possible time to try and ride. The thawing trail surface is prone to impact from tires which can result in deep ruts that last all season.

Please be patient and abstain from riding all dirt trails. We will update trailforks and Facebook as soon as the trails are dry and ready for action.

If you truly must ride, please go earlier in the day while the trail surface is still frozen. There’s still lots of ice and snow out there though so be careful.
