Welcome Tetsuya Hayashi, W.C.C.'s new Ice Tech. He takes over from long-time Ice Tech Don Duncan, who is now retired (immense gratitude to Don!). Tetsuya says, "When Don reached out about taking over after his retirement, I knew it would be big shoes to fill, but I was glad for the chance to learn from his technique and return to Whitehorse." Tetsuya was first introduced to curling at our Learn to Curl session in 2014, while he was studying at Yukon College. He also became keenly interested in how curling ice is made. He returns to Yukon after ice-making learning and experience at clubs in Burlington, ON and Dawson City. Please welcome Tetsuya back to our club. All the best, Tetsuya!
