H.O.P.E. continues to be my word—Helping One Person Everyday—and that is exactly what City Street Outreach embodies every single day. This incredible organization works tirelessly to feed, clothe, and provide essential support for our friends living on the streets, as well as anyone else in need.

Today, Denise Ogden Sabath and I were deeply humbled to join them at Nathan Phillips Square, where we handed out hot meals, warm clothing, snacks, and offered kind words and support. It was a reminder of how much a simple act of compassion can mean to someone.

City Street Outreach is led by two extraordinary angels, Grace Gintoli and Alex, whose unwavering commitment to serving others is nothing short of inspiring. They can’t do it alone, though. They’re always in need of donations—whether it’s monetary contributions, goods, or your time.

If you feel moved to help, please reach out to myself or Grace. Every Thursday night at 7 PM, you’ll find them at Nathan Phillips Square, spreading hope and love to as many people as possible.

During this holiday season, let’s all carry the spirit of giving in our hearts. Merry Christmas, and thank you for considering how you might lend your support to this beautiful cause.

🌟 Help Us Support Families in Need on Our Camino Frances Journey 🌟

A group of us are headed to Spain 🇪🇸 to walk the Camino Frances, covering 205 km from Ponferrada to Santiago de Compostela. Our journey begins on September 20th, and we’ll reach Santiago on September 28th. As we walk this historic route, we want to give back to the beautiful country and its people ❤️

We’ve partnered with Egeria House, run by the incredible Sybille Yates, who supports local families in need through her Neighbourhood Pantry campaign. The pantry provides essentials like groceries 🥫 and cleaning supplies 🧼, with a monthly goal of €500 to keep it stocked.

Our mission is to help Sybille reach that goal so she can continue offering support to these families. We’re asking our family and friends to consider donating a minimum of $10 💵 to help us reach this target. On September 29th, we’ll go shopping 🛒 with Sybille and fill the shelves for the month ahead.

If you’re able to contribute, please send an e-transfer to [email protected]. Every little bit helps, and together, we can make a difference for those who need it most 🤝.

🌟 Today was absolutely magical! ✨

Putting on my headset and standing in front of the camera to connect with all of you was an emotional experience. It's been too long since we've seen each other on screen, and seeing everyone this morning truly touched my soul.

What a beautiful way to kick off our first abotti class of 2024, celebrating our incredible athletes for Special Olympics in Guelph right from Helen's home. 🏋️‍♀️Our guest instructors brought nothing short of amazing energy, love, and excitement to the room - it was electrifying! Seeing your smiles on screen and watching you all remembering the moves warmed my heart.🤸‍♀️

Helen and I are overwhelmed with the generous support and love from all of you — we're thrilled to share that we've raised $1,450 for our athletes! 🏅 We'll be presenting this to our friends at Special Olympics on Monday, so there's still time to chip in if you'd like to donate a few more dollars.
