About the Instructors

All of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) instructors are certified by the Chief Firearms Office of Ontario to teach and test the Canadian Firearms Safety Courses. All of the Ontario Hunting Education Course (OHEC) Instructors are mandated and certified by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Recourses in partnership with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.

Discover an easier way to view white-tailed deer hunting seasons. The white-tailed deer season map provides a list of season dates and a colour-coded calendar for each wildlife management unit (WMU) as convenient ways to view the deer seasons published in tables in the Hunting Regulations Summary.

To use the map:

1. Select resident or non-resident of Ontario.
2. Zoom in on or search for the WMU you are interested in (for example "WMU 73").
3. Click on the WMU. The dates of the open season(s) for white-tailed deer hunting will appear as a list and in a calendar.

You can save or print these WMU-specific deer season summaries so you can reference them later.
