Select tryout dates for the 2026 - 2027 season. Please note that we are running major year tryouts for all age divisions. Depending on interest, we will review the possibility of additional teams (examples include U16 with U16 (2011) and U15 (2012) players or U10 if there is enough to form a U10 and U11 team, etc). In order to gauge interest, please register and attend tryouts.

The cost of the Tryouts is $20 per Tryout. The is no fee if a player attended the WSMHA Rep tryouts in the spring. Tryout fees (credit card or Interac) will be collected at the registration desk the night of the session.

Friday September 18th and Friday September 25 at Stouffville Arena

U9 (2018, 2019 & 2020) at 5:15 pm
U11 (2016 & 2017) at 6:15 pm
U13 (2014 & 2015) at 7:15 pm
U15 (2012 & 2013) at 8:15 pm
U18 (2009, 2010 & 2011) at 9:15 pm

Players must be registered with the WSMHA house league program to be eligible to play on a Select team.

U7 Registration for Prep skates is now open. Visit our website to sign up. All Prep Skate sessions will have a capacity limit, so register early to avoid missing out. These skates are not mandatory to attend and are intended to assist with the transition back to hockey prior to the start of Player Evaluations.

There will be no Player Evaluations taking place during these ice sessions.

The Prep Skate fee is $80 and this entitles you to 4 1-hour sessions. Individual sessions will not be available. Payment is required at time of registration by credit card. Due to the limited capacity, registrations with no payment will be cancelled. After the registration form is submitted, a pop-up window will appear where the credit card information can be entered.

Registration will open on Wednesday August 26 at 9:00 am.

Please note that the Prep Skate registration fee is non-refundable and the Prep Skates are open to existing WSMHA players only.

All sessions will be held at Stouffville Arena.

Sept 8th - 5:00 pm
Sept 9th - 6:15 pm
Sept 10th - 5:00 pm
Sept 14th - 5:15 pm

WSMHA is excited to announce the addition of a second U9 MD team for the upcoming season. Our U9 MD Tier 1 team will now be joined by a Tier 2 team.

As our program continues to grow, we’re committed to providing more opportunities for young players to develop their skills, build friendships, and enjoy the game of hockey.
We are currently seeking a head coach for the new U9 MD Tier 2 team. If you’re passionate about hockey and want to help young athletes grow in a fun and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
