Winter Disc Golf PSA: Protect the Pads & Be Safe.

Winter traction gear like crampons, microspikes, or cleats can be a great way to stay safe on icy courses—but they can also cause serious damage to synthetic turf tee pads.

If you're wearing any kind of spiked footwear, please throw from beside the tee pad rather than on it. Even a few steps on the turf with spikes can tear the surface, shorten its lifespan, and affect play for everyone.
