🌊 CATCHING WAVES AND STICK FIGHTING: MEET ONE FMA’S OWN ATE ROBIN! 🥋🏄♀️
🥋 At One FMA, our community is built on more than just training—it’s about the incredible people who bring heart, grit, and a whole lot of personality to the mats. Today, we are beyond stoked to shine a spotlight on one of our most inspiring members, Ate Robin Pacquing.
🎬 Not only is Ate Robin a dedicated martial artist at our school, but she’s also making some serious waves as a Filipino-Canadian surfer in the documentary SURFISTAS. The film follows Ate Robin and her crew as they brave the winter’s chill of the Great Lakes to build a fearless sisterhood on the water.
👩❤️👩 Being an Ate means more than just a title; it means being a big sister who leads by example, and Ate Robin embodies this to the core. Her attitude reflects the true spirit of an elder sister—she is protective of the community, nurturing to those around her, and always the first to step up when someone needs a hand.
✨ Why We Love Having Ate Robin in the One FMA Fam:
🙌 A Lifelong Learner: On the mats, Ate Robin is an excellent martial artist who is always open to learning and refining her craft.
⚔️ Master of the Stick: Whether she is training in stick fighting or empty hands, she brings incredible focus and skill to the art.
💛 Heart of Gold: In true big sister fashion, she is consistently looking for ways to help her fellow students and support the growth of the class.
☀️ The Ultimate Vibe: Honestly, the best part about Ate Robin is the pure joy she brings to every session. She is such a fun person to work with and makes our school a better place just by being there.
❄️ Whether she’s suiting up for the icy Great Lakes or stepping onto the mats for a session, Ate Robin embodies the perseverance, courage, and power of community that defines the One FMA spirit.
🥳 Join us in celebrating Ate Robin for her accomplishments in the surfing world and for being a cornerstone of our martial arts family! 🤙💥
