Cocoa For Kids is excited to share that pre-orders for their SickKids ties are officially open exclusively to members of the WMHA!
Their estimated delivery date is November 30th. Until October 21st their merch shop will be exclusively available to the WMHA, giving our coaches, staff, players, parents, and community the first opportunity to order before the shop opens to the general public!
The ties are the main offering for the WHMA, with VersaTies also available as an additional option for those who may be interested. Quantities are not limited - parents, coaches, and staff are encouraged to extend the opportunity to their families, friends, and the broader WMHA community. Cocoa For Kids have accounted for enough stock to accommodate the WMHA orders before the public launch.
What makes this especially meaningful is the opportunity to show SickKids the incredible support that exists in Whitby. Connecting the ties the WMHA gives Cocoa For Kids is a really special way to demonstrate how a local community can come together behind SickKids and the families who rely on them.
Cocoa for Kids has also included a local pickup option through what they've labelled the Cocoa Bar. This gives anyone who would prefer to pick up their order locally at their residence the opportunity to save on shipping costs, as shipping costs can be quite expensive.
Our upcoming October Newsletter will contain an information package to help everyone become familiar with the project, the story behind the ties, and the connection between the WMHA and this initiative. We hope it helps bring the project to life and shows how the ties can serve as a strong initiative for the WMHA to visibly demonstrate its support for SickKids.
