The WYC Sailing School is a great way to spend the summer, make new friends, and discover an exciting outdoor sport. We've got programs for all levels of sailing experience, from complete novice to experienced racer, for all ages from 5-99. We have camps for kids and adults to learn how to sail and row on Stand-Up Paddle Boards! Programs fill up very quickly, so be sure to register early!

We had such a great time at camp last week & these pictures do an excellent job of capturing it! From a great week of sailing, to the carnival we had on Friday, there was so much fun to be had. A special shout out goes to our counsellors who were such great sports about getting pied in the face by the campers! We can’t wait for the next 3 weeks of camp to be just as great!

Looking for something fun to do this summer after the work day is done? Join us in August on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings at 6-7:30 for our You Choose program!

Through this program, you will have the opportunity to paddleboard or kayak around the Whitby Harbour. We can’t think of a more relaxing way to end the day! 🌊⛵️

From all of us at the WYC Sailing School, thank you for all of your support this summer!

We are happy to say that our incredible team of instructors were able to run another successful summer across nine programs including Watersports, CANSail 1&2, Opti CANSail 2/3/4, CANSail 3&4, OPTI and Laser Race Teams, Adult Stand Up Paddleboarding, Family Social Circle Sailing, and Date Night Dinghy.
Operating as a not-for-profit organization, we were able to inspire and educate nearly 400 sailors and watersport enthusiasts this season!

We hope to see you all on the water with us next year! ☀️⛵️
