Any bear 🐻 experts out there? We were debating in our ride group if this was a Grizzly we saw when doing Lord of the Squirrels Jul 23. I voted no… but see the trail is closed today because of a Grizzly sighting 😳

An epic day up Into the Mystic and Lord of the Squirrels in Whistler. This was my third trip up, and I’m still in awe of the beauty. Pics really don’t do it justice.

We road Rush Hour, Last Call and Happy Hour while we were up there, for even more epic views of the valley. Worth the extra time for the views for sure, but pretty technical descents for less experienced riders.

The upside of writing off your old second car? Get to try and west coast out a new to us ride. How am I doing so far?

Today was the first ride with the roof rack. Not going to lie, was nerve racking - felt like it was coming off for sure. How do you people trust $10k bikes up there? 😳

My daughter made me post this. Not because it’s a good picture, but because this was taken less than a second before the bike fell in the lake, and I had to dive in after it. She thinks it’s a hilarious example of what a dork her dad is… and she’s not wrong 🥸🤦🤣
