To everyone who made Whistler Olympic Park part of their summer, thank you. ☀️

Whether you stayed for a week or stopped by for an afternoon, it was a pleasure to share the trails, mountain views and a little Olympic history with you.

A big thank you to our team, too, for the care and hard work that went into the season.

We’re looking ahead to winter, with opening day planned for November 27 and possible bonus weekends on Callaghan Gold, weather permitting.

Our Interpretive Trail project began with conversations among our team about the trails, the forest, and the land we're privileged to spend time on.

This summer, our team walked the trails with Ernie, an essential member of the Whistler Olympic Park team, to learn about local plants and hear the stories and knowledge he has gathered over the years.

Thank you, Ernie, for sharing your knowledge with us!

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we acknowledge that Whistler Olympic Park sits on the shared traditional territories of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations, whose knowledge of this land and its plants goes back thousands of years.

We hope this is the beginning of more educational talks, stories and signs that help visitors learn about the land, its plants and its heritage.

☀️ You have a little time left to soak up the last taste of summer!
There’s still time for one more adventure before we switch gears to winter. Here’s your game plan:

🍂 Stop at spectacular Alexander Falls on your way into the Park.
Park at P3 and come say hi at the Day Lodge. Check out our Maloja summer collection and souvenirs while you’re here.

🥾 Walk the Interpretive Trail and get a behind the scenes look at the Park, including our Callaghan Gold snow pile, stored all summer and getting ready to help us kick-start winter - see photo.

🏅 Take on the Ski Jump Scramble Challenge and climb all 538 steps to the top!

Come for the day or stay for a night under the stars.

You’ve got until October 4. Then it’s game on for winter!
