Well by this time of year I would already be 2 months in on recruiting players and getting ready for the upcoming ball season.
But this year is a lot different as I have settled in to my decision that after 13 years of coaching softball in Weyburn and over 32 years of coaching various sports in many communities, I am calling it a career and officially retiring from coaching.
I would like to thank all the parents, players, coaches, sponsors and Weyburn Minor Softball board members for the years of allowing me to be part of your ball family and greatly appreciated your support and teamwork.
I will greatly miss seeing everyone throughout the ball season and really appreciate the life long friendships I have made with so many players over the years, meeting some great people within the softball community across our zone and province.
To the players who have contacted me about 2024 U17 and U19 teams, please contact Weyburn Minor Softball for more information and to get your name on a team list.
Thanks for the great memories and best of luck to all the Wild players and coaches in the upcoming season and beyond!
To the U17 Wild players over the last years, it was the best time I have had coaching and will never forget you ladies, parents and coaches!
