The moms picked the walkout songs, the players brought the energy, and the team battled their way to a silver medal finish!

Congratulations to on of our first 13U Softball Teams on being named Team of the Week!

When we first introduced softball, we weren't sure what the interest would be. It’s amazing we have two dedicated 13U softball teams proudly representing Wetaskiwin!

Seeing these athletes hit the field each week, work hard, support one another, and rock their new jerseys has been incredible. We are so proud of how much this program has grown in one season and excited to watch these players continue to develop their skills and love for the game

Although the tournament was cut short due to today's cancellation, our 9U softball teams had a great time in Bashaw this weekend!

The girls enjoyed some fun games, lots of laughs, and the opportunity to spend time with their teammates. Thank you to the coaches, families, and volunteers who helped make the weekend a success.

To our members, community, and fellow baseball families,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a fellow baseball player and beloved member of our baseball community, Everett Feldberg.

Everett was a talented ball player, but more importantly, he was a remarkable young man. He will be remembered for his passion for the game, his determination, and the kindness and respect he showed to his family, friends, teammates, coaches, opponents, and everyone around him.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with the Feldberg family during this incredibly difficult time. As a baseball community, we stand beside them and offer our support in any way we can.

Everett's team, the U18 Stingers, will be hosting a double header on June 13th from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
against the Wetaskiwin Nationals in Everett's honour.
Playing against Wetaskiwin is something Everett was really looking forward to this season, so in his honour, all proceeds from the concession that day will be donated to an organization or cause chosen by the Feldberg family. As a baseball community, we will continue to support one another and honor Everett's memory with kindness, compassion, and care for each other.

Everett's love for baseball and the impact he had on those around him will not be forgotten. May the heavenly ball diamonds always have green grass, sunny skies, and a game ready to be played.
