Visiting Long Island Lake Municipal Campground in 2022
Westlock County and area residents are welcoming the warmer weather and preparing for enjoyable outdoor activities, including going to Long Island Lake Municipal Campground on a hot summer day. On-line booking system will be open to the public on March 11, 2022 at 9:00 am. Days and Hours of Operation Camp office phone open from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00

p.m. Monday-Sunday; 780-954-2261, no bookings are being taken by drive-up
Gate is open from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Absolute Checkout time is 4:00 p.m. Quiet time 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (no barking dogs and no generators)
The following permits must be booked ONLINE:
Overnight Camping Sites $25.00 per night/unit
Tenting Sites $20.00 per night/per tent
Day Use/Visitor Permits $10.00 per vehicle (limited quantities available daily, first come first serve basis in designated beach area)
Call Park Manager in advance to book these permits:
Stay n' Play Day Pass Permit $20.00 (limited quantities available, valid from 9:00am - 9:00pm)
Stay n' Play Camping Permit $20.00 (limited quantities available, valid from 6:00pm - 4:00pm next day)
Boating/Trailer Permit $20.00 (limited quantities available)
Buses/Large Vans $50.00
Additional charges
Non-refundable Reservation Fee $12.50 is charged to every camping/tenting site booking
Change of Reservation Fee $12.50 (name changes, date or site changes)
Additional vehicles $10.00
Additional Tent for camping site is $20.00/night
Weekends must be booked as two nights starting on the Friday (an email will be sent if booked incorrect or cancel with no refund)
Long Weekends must include the holiday inclusive of the three days (an email will be sent if booked incorrect or cancelled with no refund)
A charge back fee equal to one nights camping fee will be charged back to the permit holder for; early entry, late departure or if the site is deemed unclean by the Park Officer or their designate
Septic Disposal Fee $5.00/use for registered campers and $10.00/use for non-registered campers
Firewood $8.00 (Subject to Availability)
GST will be added to all Fees
Reservation booking made by the customer must be the same name when redeeming their camping permit. An additional fee of $12.50 +GST will apply if changes are made. Note: -All ATVs will only be allowed in and out of the park on trailers. -Pets are not allowed in public areas and must be leashed at sites, constant barking will not be tolerated. -No Horses are allowed within the recreation lease/or Municipal Campground boundaries. -All rules are subject to the New Recreation Bylaw 05-2019 (please review prior to booking your reservation) and 6.13 County Campgrounds Policy

LONG ISLAND LAKE MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND Discover the natural beauty of Long Island Lake Campground. Camping is a very popular recreational activity and Long Island Lake is a wonderful site in a natural setting. Long Island Lake offers 35 wooded sites. Each campsite has a cleared, level site with fire pits and picnic tables giving you room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Campground Caretakers are on site 24 hours a day monitoring the campsites, beach and keeping the facility neat and clean Reservation Guidelines Reservations can be made by going on-line to www.westlockcounty.com May 1 There is a limit of four campsite reservations per transaction, in any combination of sites or dates. The maximum stay is fourteen (14) consecutive nights. No more than six people may occupy a campsite. Some sites hold more than one camping accommodation AND additional camping fees are applied.

All fees are subject to GST and will be added There is a $12.50 non-refundable reservation fee per campsite. Full Pre-Payment is required for all reservations. Westlock County Residents can contact the county office at 780-307-0593 beginning April 24th and must provide LLD or Rural Address and once verified the reservation will be confirmed and processed. Camping permit holders are responsible for the actions of all camping party members and any visitors to their campsite. Check-in time is 6:00 p.m. Check-out time is 4:00 p.m. Cancelling a reservation;

if made more than 7 days before 2pm of the arrival date camping fees are refunded

if made less than 4 days before 2pm of the arrival date one night’s fee is forfeited

if made after the 4 day cut off no refund is issued

no refunds are issued for a reservation within a long weekend

Group site cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the arrival date Only the person whose name is on the reservation will receive the permit and must arrive first. Access will be denied to those who are not on the reservation and no refund will be given. If you are part of a group campsite booking the person who booked the reservation must be first to arrive and the permit holder is the only person who has access to change or cancel a reservation.

Contact the county office within 7 days of the reservation email: jtoews@westlockcounty to receive a credit. Changing a Reservation There is a non-refundable change fee of $12.50 per change. If a change to arrive at a later date is made less than 7 before days of the scheduled arrival date, one nights camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded. email: jtoews@westlockcounty to receive a credit. Cancelling a Reservation The $12.50 reservation fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made more than 7 day before the scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded. If a cancellation is made less than 4 days before the scheduled arrival date, one nights camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will refunded. If a cancellation is made after the 4 day cut off no refund is issued. No refunds are issued for a reservation within a long weekend. Reservations will be refused and cancelled if they break up a weekend email: jtoews@westlockcounty to receive a credit. If you do not notify us of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled and camping fees will be forfeited, any future reservations are forfeited and you will be unable to book any additional sites for the current camping season.
