Yesterday, Reid Casavant and GM Ryan Craig represented the WGC at the Tournament of Champions, held at the Sundre Golf Club! Thank you to Sundre Golf Club and the PGA of Alberta for putting on an excellent event, and congratulations to this year’s winners!

A cold, rainy Tuesday didn’t stop more than 80 players from teeing off in the 2026 Alberta Golf Men’s Amateur Qualifier out at the WGC today!

Thank you to all who braved the inclement conditions and made the trip from all over Western Canada to play today. Congratulations to all the players who qualified for the Alberta Men’s Amateur Championship being held at the Fort McMurray Golf Club later this year - and a special congratulations to WGC staff member Reid Casavant for firing a field best 70!

Our next event is on the horizon. Join us for our Mixed Scotch 2-Ball tournament on the eve of the longest day of the year!

In this Mixed format, both partners hit a tee shot. Partners then switch, and hit each others shots. From there, they take the best one, and alternate strokes until the ball is holed out.

First Ace of the year!

Congratulations to Louis Pelletier on his first ever hole-in-one! On Friday, May 15th, Louis sank his tee shot on hole #17 from 137 yards with a 9 iron to claim the first HIO of the WGC season!

U12 Learn 2 Swing is back at the Westlock Golf Club!

A fun and welcoming program for juniors ages 5–12 to learn the basics of golf, build confidence, win prizes, and have fun on the driving range, and course!
