Kelowna Rowing Club is proud to host The Head of the Okanagan on the shores of Gellatly Bay in West Kelowna. Having rowed on Okanagan Lake for over 100 years, we’re excited to welcome crews back to the Okanagan for a 5km Head Race on September 26th. Congratulations to Ella, who represented Kelowna Rowing Club at the Delta Deas Scholastic Regatta alongside Coach Alex 🚣

Competing in a single, mixed double, and women’s quad, Ella raced alongside athletes from Vernon Rowing Club and gave it her all across multiple events

NELSON SPRINTS REGATTA ✅

We are so beyond proud of our Novices, Juniors, and Masters who competed this following weekend! This 1000m race came with its challenges, but each one of our rowers came ready for anything that would be thrown at them.

We are coming home with 12 podium positions and many more close 4ths!!

Oleksii Lupan, a dedicated member of our club, has qualified to represent British Columbia at the 2025 Canada Cup! 🇨🇦🚣🏼‍♀️

This regatta is one of the country’s most competitive rowing regattas with only the best of the best being in attendance. Oleksii will be racing in the U21 Men’s Single and the U21 Mixed Eight.

With that being said, getting there is not cheap, and he is asking for your help to get there! If you’re able to help, any contribution — no matter the size — will go directly towards helping Oleksii make this dream a reality.

This past weekend, Alex Lupan, a dedicated and hard working member of our club competed the Men’s Open 1x at the BC Provincial Championships! We are very excited to say that Alex will be coming home with a gold medal for FIRST PLACE!!!
