Cypress is opening this Friday! Who is dreaming of skiing? Private Ski Lessons start in mid-December. Pricing is $439 + tax for a half day lesson and $699 + tax for full day lesson.

As the days get shorter and the temperature gets colder, you may be starting to think, what should I do this winter? The answer is simple for those of you living in Greater Vancouver: have fun in the snow! I am happy to share that I will be teaching skiing at Cypress again this season. It's a wrap! This season has been awesome and has kept it safe for our guests and our fellow instructors. I had the fortune of skiing some pristine powder on Cypress one of the last weekends of March and it just brought me so much joy! 🙂
Covid and working from home/endless zoom calls take a toll on our mental health. Nothing restores me better than fresh air + nature + movement! I wish you all a safe and happy Easter long weekend, and hope to see you on the slopes next winter!

I have been quiet since the holidays. That's because I have been focusing on my own training, skiing 2x per week on average. And finally, it paid off today: I passed my CSIA Level 2 ski exam!!
Continuous learning is my mantra, and I know my training will continue after this milestone, but it sure is something to celebrate. I started joining my first training session 2 seasons ago, then joined training sessions regularly last season and passed the teaching portion of my Level 2 exam. It wasn't until this season when I started doing my own practice outside of weekly training sessions, and being laser focused on this goal, that I finally pass my Level 2 ski exam. (I got my Level 1 certification 10 years ago.)

A life lesson about goal setting, determination and hard work!

Merry Christmas everyone! Taught a lesson on the morning of Christmas Eve and will teach another on Boxing Day. Snow and nature are the best place to be enjoying the especially after some yummy holiday dinners and treats! Message me if you want to book a private lesson next week, Dec 29, 30 or Jan 2 are open.

Today was a gorgeous day on with fresh snow greeting us in the morning. So grateful to be working in a winter wonderland!
