I forged this blade on the 9th May at an O.A.B.A. demonstration. We had 8 smiths working to make one and about 12 observers that day. It was held at the Fergus Forge. The following week I finished it off at home with heat treat and handling it.

On the 9th May I will be demonstrating how to make a Brut de Forge with Farriers rasps at Fergus Forge. One of them is finished with brass and moose antler on the handle. The other is hardened and tempered (the colour still showing) ready to be handled and finished. They will be part of the story board showing all the steps taken to create them.
