Are you passionate about supporting your local community? We invite you to consider volunteering with our organization. Our community services rely on the contributions of dedicated individuals. To join our team, simply attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and let us know about your interest in volunteering. If you're unsure about the type of work you'd like to do, think about organizing one of our popular events, such as the Yard Sale, Craft Fair, Car Show, or Bluegrass Festival. If you're unable to attend the AGM, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We look forward to hearing from you.

SEED FUNDRAISER: It may not be spring yet – but we’re dreaming of warmer weather! That’s why our childcare centre is selling garden seed kits for our February fundraising campaign!

What better way to take your mind off of the winter blues than to start planning your spring and summer gardens?

This fundraiser includes your choice of 16 plot kits, each with a number of individual seed packets, for whatever type of garden you’re planning to grow.

Sales end February 27th to allow delivery in time for spring gardening. All children (and staff) enrolled in the childcare program have detailed brochures and order forms. Orders can also be placed at https://makeitsow.com/seeds/shop by using Class Code: WLCC_2026

Please note: all orders, including those placed online, will be fulfilled to the Wentworth Learning Centre.

Wentworth is an amazing community with the best volunteers. Please help Ski Wentworth host this Canada Cup FIS series in our community.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CANADA CUP

The Wentworth Canada Cup FIS Series is a FIS sanctioned event under the International Ski and Snowboard Federation. Wentworth will welcome some of the nation’s top freestyle skiing talent and abroad competing in three events for this national competition, a first for Atlantic Canada.

We are currently looking volunteers to help support this major event and be part of an exciting milestone for freestyle skiing in our region. Send an email to Pat Stewart at [email protected] and register at the link below.
