Advanced registrations for this weekends Welland Canal Open Water Swim are now closed. On behalf of Canaqua Sports we thank everyone who has registered for your support, and we look forward to a great day on Sunday August 30, at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. The forecast is sunny and 25 degrees, and the water temperature is currently 23 degrees.
As always we are offering on-site registration starting a 6:30 AM on Sunday morning.

One more event to go for Canaqua Sports in Ontario. The Welland Canal Open Water Swim is coming this Sunday, August 30 to the Welland International Flatwater Centre. 1. Mudskipper SwimRun - Milton, Milton Open Water Swim, and the Inaugural Milton Runs 7.5K and 15K Trail Run on August 16 in Area 8 Conservation in Milton
2. Welland Canal Open Water Swim - August 30. Distances range from 1K to 15K, all taking place at the Welland International Flatwater Centre.

Canaqua Sports is excited to have 2 Welland events left for the 2026 season.
Over the years, the Welland Recreational Canal has been the focal point of our season in Ontario, with 3 events. With our June event being the largest ever, we are now looking forward to our 2 remaining Welland events, as we invite ALL open-water swimmers and swimrunners to join us on August 2nd at the Welland Community Boathouse and on August 30 at the Welland International Flatwater Centre.
