We are jumping for joy because the dance season is just around the corner!!

To get ready for the fall, shoe sales and sizing for shoe orders are happening this week. Sales will be held at our 27 THOROLD ROAD location (next to the B**r Store), downstairs. In addition to shoes, we will also have some dance apparel and tights for sale as well. We will also be taking orders for select items of dancewear.

Please make sure that your child has a pair of tights on to try on shoes. Upon arrival, please proceed downstairs upon entry to the studio for shoe sizing. Cash payments, Debit, Visa and MasterCard will be available for your purchases and orders.

Shoe sale days and times will be as follows:
Monday August 17th - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday August 18th - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday August 19th - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday August 20th - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday August 21st - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday August 22nd - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

She knows how to make an entrance!! She may have made her mommy wait an extra 15 days, but we have a new member of the Dance Place family!
Miss Laura, her hubby Greg, and big sisters Lois and Eleanor are excited to welcome Lucille Ilene Kalmats 💕 to the family!!
She arrived on August 6 weighing 9 lbs, 3.5 oz and is 20.5 inches long.
Congratulations to Miss Laura, Greg and their families!! 🎉🩷🎉

While we normally celebrate the women of the DeLuca family, we would like to take a moment to celebrate Luca, Miss Vanessa’s son (aka Miss Lori’s grandson, Miss Leanna’s nephew, & Miss Milana’s brother). Congratulations to Luca on his Gr. 8 graduation and being chosen as valedictorian!! 🎉🤩🎉

After three fantastic dress rehearsals, where all of our dancers had the opportunity to practice on stage, we are ready to celebrate their accomplishments at Dance Place Recital 2026!

This year, we proudly celebrate 47 years of dance at Dance Place under the dedicated leadership of Miss Lori and her daughters, Miss Leanna and Miss Vanessa. Their passion, commitment, and love of dance have created a studio that feels like home to so many dancers and families.

Over the next three days, Dance Place will present five recital performances showcasing the hard work, growth, and talent of our dancers. Audiences will enjoy inspiring performances, creative choreography from our teaching staff, and the joy and artistry that dance brings to the stage.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible staff, tech crew, and backstage volunteers who helped make the dress rehearsals run so smoothly and who will continue working behind the scenes to ensure our recital performances are a wonderful success.

We are so proud of every dancer and can't wait to celebrate all they have achieved this season. Break a leg, dancers! ❤️🤩❤️
