After three fantastic dress rehearsals, where all of our dancers had the opportunity to practice on stage, we are ready to celebrate their accomplishments at Dance Place Recital 2026!

This year, we proudly celebrate 47 years of dance at Dance Place under the dedicated leadership of Miss Lori and her daughters, Miss Leanna and Miss Vanessa. Their passion, commitment, and love of dance have created a studio that feels like home to so many dancers and families.

Over the next three days, Dance Place will present five recital performances showcasing the hard work, growth, and talent of our dancers. Audiences will enjoy inspiring performances, creative choreography from our teaching staff, and the joy and artistry that dance brings to the stage.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible staff, tech crew, and backstage volunteers who helped make the dress rehearsals run so smoothly and who will continue working behind the scenes to ensure our recital performances are a wonderful success.

We are so proud of every dancer and can't wait to celebrate all they have achieved this season. Break a leg, dancers! ❤️🤩❤️

We would like to take a moment to thank all of our assistant teachers!

These incredible teenagers are an extremely important part of the Dance Place family. Not only are they talented dancers, but they are kind, caring, and positive role models for our younger students.

They build special relationships with the dancers in their classes and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Over the past three dress rehearsals, they continuously stepped up whenever they were needed, supporting both the teaching staff and their fellow dancers.

Their dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for all that they do and are proud to have them as part of our Dance Place family. Thank you for your hard work, leadership, and the positive impact you make every day!

Important Notice:
When students come for the dress rehearsal this week, dancers will need to be brought in by one family member through the student entrance, which is on the side of the school. Once the student is dropped off and checked in, the family member who has the video pass will go back out and enter through the main school entrance. We will have signs posted for the student entrance.

Our final competition of the season! 🌟
What a fantastic few days spent in Mississauga with our dancers and their families over the holiday weekend. Once again, our dancers left everything on the stage and came home with incredible marks, overall awards, and Showstoppers. Plus, we won Top Competitive Studio and Miss Lori was awarded the Guidance and Leadership Award. 🥰
More importantly, we made memories that will be cherished forever. 🩷
Watching friendships blossom among our youngest dancers, hearing the laughter from our junior and intermediate dancers, and seeing the tears from our senior dancers as they took the stage together one final time reminded us what dance is truly about. It’s about the friendships, the laughter, the growth, and the memories made together along the way. 🥰
Thank you to all of our competitive dancers and their families for your time, energy, commitment, and dedication throughout this competition season. Your support and passion mean so much to our studio family.
A huge thank you as well to our incredible staff for your creativity, beautiful choreography, and the countless hours you give to our dancers each and every week.

This past weekend, Dance Place attended the Inspire Dance Challenge in Hamilton, and what an incredible weekend it was! It was a successful event for all of our dancers and teachers, earning top marks, special judges’ awards, choreography awards, overall awards, and winning the title of Top Competitive Studio!
A huge thank you to all of our dancers for your energy, talent, and passion. You represented the studio beautifully both on and off the stage.
Thank you to our amazing teaching staff for your dedication, creativity, and hard work. Every routine looked fabulous on stage!
And thank you to our wonderful families and supporters! We truly couldn’t do it without you. Your encouragement means everything.
We are so proud of everyone and already looking forward to our next competition and Recital 2026! 🩷
